Myth: any voice is fair game

It isn't. Copying a real person's voice or likeness needs that person's consent. We couldn't confirm how many voices the picker offers. If I had to flag one setting, it's the picker itself, and the reason is that it works per character. Lexie and Barbara don't have to share a voice.

This is the honest part, and it's where GoLove's voice pitch gets rough around the edges.

What we can confirm a free account gets:

• Stars: 2 free reward Stars a day.
• Feed: a limited number of new clips per day. We couldn't confirm the exact count.
• Series: episodes 1 and 2 of every series.

Even without an account, the chat opens. Her first photo is visible; the next one sits blurred behind a lock and a "Sign Up" button.
